మక్కా యత్రకు వెళ్లిన హైదరాబాద్ యాత్రికుల బస్సు డీజిల్ ట్యాంకర్ ఢీకొనడంతో ప్రమాదానికి గురైందని తెలుస్తోంది. దాదాపు 42 మంది ప్రయాణికులు మృతి చెందినట్లుగా పేర్కొంటున్నారు.. ముఖ్యంగా అందులో 11 మంది మహిళలు 10 మంది చిన్నారులు ఉన్నట్టు సమాచారం.

సౌదీ అరేబియాలో భారతీయ యాత్రికులతో ఉన్న బస్సు ఘోర ప్రమాదంపై ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి తీవ్ర దిగ్బ్రాంతి వ్యక్తం చేశారు. మక్కా నుంచి మదీనా వెళ్తుండగా ఈ ప్రమాదం జరిగిందని, అందులో హైదరాబాద్ వాసులు కూడా ఉన్నారని వస్తున్న ప్రాథమిక సమాచారంపై వెంటనే స్పందించిన ముఖ్యమంత్రి  పూర్తి వివరాలు తెలుసుకోవాలని ప్రభుత్వ ప్రధాన కార్యదర్శి, డీజీపీని ఆదేశించారు. ఈ దుర్ఘటనపై విదేశాంగ శాఖ, సౌదీ ఎంబసీ అధికారులతో మాట్లాడాలని, తక్షణం అవసరమైన సహాయక చర్యలు చేపట్టాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి  ఆదేశించారు. ప్రభుత్వ ప్రధాన కార్యదర్శి కె. రామకృష్ణ రావు వెంటనే ఢిల్లీలో ఉన్న కో-ఆర్డినేషన్ సెక్రటరీ గౌరవ్ ఉప్పల్తో  మాట్లాడి అవసరమైన సూచనలు చేశారు. ఈ ఘటనపై ఎప్పటికప్పుడు వివరాలు, సహాయక చర్యలను పర్యవేక్షిస్తూ కుటుంబీకులు, బంధువులకు సమాచారం కోసం సచివాలయంలో కంట్రోల్ రూమ్ ను ఏర్పాటు చేశారు.

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has expressed deep shock over the tragic bus accident in Saudi Arabia involving Indian pilgrims. Initial reports indicate that the accident occurred while the passengers, including residents of Hyderabad, were travelling from Mecca to Medina.The Chief Minister immediately directed the Chief Secretary and the DGP to obtain full details of the incident. He also instructed officials to coordinate with the Ministry of External Affairs and the Saudi Embassy to ensure prompt relief measures for the affected.Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao contacted Coordination Secretary Gaurav Uppal in Delhi and provided necessary guidance to facilitate immediate assistance. A control room has been established at the Telangana Secretariat to keep the families and relatives informed and to monitor ongoing relief efforts.

A spiritual journey turned into a nightmare early Monday when a bus carrying Indian Umrah pilgrims from Mecca to Madinah collided with a diesel tanker. The crash, followed by a massive fire, has left at least 42 people feared dead. Initial reports indicate that many passengers on the bus were women and children from Hyderabad. Unofficial information suggests 11 women and 10 children may be among the dead, though officials are still verifying exact numbers.
