Family Day Celebrated In Safety week

Bapco organized the "Family Day" event within the activities of Environment and Health Week And safety 2020 at the Bahrain International Circuit
The Bahrain Petroleum Company (Bapco) concluded the activities of Environment, Health and Safety 2020 by holding a family day on Saturday, January 11th, at the Bahrain International Circuit. The event was held under the slogan "We care" in the presence of thousands of Bapco employees, contractors and their family members who were keen to participate in these important events that take place every two years and through which Bapco company is keen to establish a culture of occupational safety and enhance awareness of environmental, health and safety matters not only in the workplace but All over the community.
The "Family Day" event was opened by His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Minister of Oil, in the presence of His Excellency Dr. Daoud Nassif, Chairman of the Board of Directors - CEO of the company, a number of members of the Board of Directors, and Engineer Ibrahim Talib, Executive Vice President - Chairman of the Environment and Health Committee And safety, members of the executive management, a number of dignitaries and officials. Initially, Engineer Ibrahim Talib gave a brief speech in which he thanked His Excellency the Minister of Oil for his honor to attend and sponsor the event, and touched on the importance of the Environment, Health and Safety Week within the efforts and initiatives of Bapco Company to consolidate the values ​​and principles of the environment, health and safety in society.
The "Family Day" program included a number of recreational activities, programs and paragraphs, as well as an educational information corner, a pavilion for different foods, a platform for musical performances, a children's play area, and other paragraphs and programs that were widely accepted and appreciated by the attendees. It should be noted that this event comes in line with the vision of the Kingdom of Bahrain 2030 for sustainable development, and in accordance with the directives of the rational leadership and instructions of His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Minister of Oil. It also comes within the framework of Bapco's efforts to spread a culture of safety and encourage individuals to adopt safe practices at work at all times, which contributes to establishing a safe working environment free from accidents and injuries, in addition to spreading awareness in the home environment in particular and society in general.
